When Paradise Is Not Always Easy to Keep
Paradise can mean something different to everyone. In Paradise Savored by Patricia Jensen, different couples find their own moments of happiness and fulfillment in places and situations that are unique to them. What seems like a perfect moment can feel simple, personal, and beautiful, especially when it is shared with someone who matters.
But happiness does not always stay untouched. Sometimes, a few words can hurt more than expected, while something that happened years ago can suddenly return and change everything. Paradise Savored explores those moments when love, happiness, and the past come together, showing how quickly something that feels perfect can be tested.
A Life Filled With Stories and Experience
Patricia Jensen started writing later in life after spending much of her career in the business world. She lived in the San Diego area for nearly 30 years before moving to Northern California, where she now lives with her husband on 25 acres. She has two sons and three grandchildren and is now retired. She also owned her own business and co-hosted a radio talk show for three years.
Her writing has been shaped by both personal experience and the people around her. Her first book, Paradise Beckons, was fiction, while John or Is It Fred was inspired by her husband’s family and developed from old family heirlooms and documents discovered during the 2020 lockdown. She is also working on a sequel to Paradise Beckons. Having lived through the women’s rights era of the 1960s and 70s, Jensen brings her experiences with marriage, family, work, and relationships into her perspective as a writer.
