Lonesome B. Augustine is a Black American novelist, speaker, and U.S. Army veteran. His writing combines historical truth with cinematic storytelling, and his work includes both Black Western fiction and contemporary crime novels.
His stories explore themes such as identity, justice, manhood, faith, and survival. His books include Dark Prairie and ICE: A Story of Love, Crime, and Politics. Through his storytelling and speaking engagements across the United States, Augustine works to restore dignity to forgotten Black history and encourage men to reclaim purpose through faith and courage.
