Robert Ackerman was born in South Dakota in 1947 and has spent much of his life serving both his community and the people around him. He has served as one of the directors of the West Dakota Water Development District while also pursuing interests in art, soccer officiating, and coaching.
Throughout his career, Ackerman has held leadership roles, including Director of the Pennington County Drug and Alcohol Task Force and Director of the Keystone Ambulance Service. His wide range of experiences and commitment to helping others bring authenticity and depth to the stories he shares through his writing.
