A Lifetime Fueled by Running and Creativity
Donald Froelich has dedicated much of his life to two passions: running and drawing. As a young athlete, he competed as a track sprinter in school and later while serving in the United States Army, racing in the 100, 200, and 400-meter events. After military service, his love for running continued through cross-country races, road races, and full marathons.
His artistic side developed just as naturally. For years, Donald created comic cartoons that appeared in magazines, and eventually combined his collection of running-themed illustrations into a book that celebrates the humor every runner understands. His firsthand experiences give every comic authenticity while reminding readers that every mile has its own memorable story.
