Gerome Singleterry’s One Race is a bold, heartfelt call for unity in a divided world. In this book, Singleterry takes on the painful issues of racism and segregation with a conversational and relatable tone. Through real-life examples and scripture, he reminds us that our true identity is found in our shared humanity, not in the color of our skin. The lesson is clear: God created us all in His image and sees only one race—the race of people.

In One Race, Singleterry challenges all of us to look in the mirror and reflect on our own hearts. His message is simple yet powerful—embrace love over hate, and stand against any form of discrimination. The book, authored by Gerome Singleterry, urges readers to reject the lies of division that have been sown over generations and to instead trust in the unchanging love of God.

“One of the things people cannot do is hide what they honestly believe and what they really feel, because God will make them reveal their true nature. You can only lie to yourself, because God already knows you are doing that, and it is just a matter of time before people will know that you are lying to.”

Dive Into The Story Of United In Heart

One Race is more than just a discussion on racism—it’s a journey toward true understanding and spiritual awakening. Singleterry weaves together personal stories, biblical truths, and historical insights to present a vision of a world where color is no barrier to brotherhood. The book guides you through chapters that explore issues like church racism, segregation in schools, and the painful legacy of profiling, all while insisting that our differences are meant to be celebrated rather than feared.

Throughout its pages, the narrative shines a light on the damaging effects of prejudice and challenges us to unlearn the lessons of hate that many of us have been taught. Singleterry’s writing is straightforward and down-to-earth; he speaks as if he’s talking to an old friend—encouraging you to examine your own beliefs and to grow in compassion and understanding. The characters he introduces, whether they are historical figures or everyday people, serve as reminders that the path to unity starts in the heart.

At its core, One Race calls for a transformation of both individual attitudes and societal norms. By drawing on scripture and personal testimony, the book makes a case for a radical rethinking of how we perceive one another. It challenges the status quo, urging each of us to be pioneers of change—embracing diversity as a divine gift and rejecting any form of segregation that diminishes our shared humanity.
