From Spiritual Struggle to a Life of Purpose
Everyone has struggles they have to face, and sometimes the hardest battles happen within ourselves. The Grateful Man and His Secrets by Daniel Jerkins follows a personal journey shaped by faith, determination, and the search for purpose. Born in Newtonville, New Jersey, and raised as one of thirteen children, Daniel learned early about determination, dedication, and discipline.
His relationship with God became an important part of his life, eventually leading him toward ministry. But the journey was not without challenges. Daniel experienced what he describes as a spiritual tug of war as he tried to follow his purpose while dealing with his own struggles. His story is one of faith, service, and the desire to help ordinary people find freedom and move toward the direction God has for them.
A Life Devoted to Ministry
Daniel Jerkins preached his first sermon in a local church at the age of 15. Over the years, he has served in different ministry roles, including serving on the board of Love Ministries International and as Chaplain for Father’s Artists and Christian Dance Fellowship. He also served as Director of the Potter’s House Hospital Ministry for more than 12 years.
Daniel is currently a member of the Prayer Ministry at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. He is also an entrepreneur and the owner of Jerkins Services Inc. He and his wife, Karla, reside in Dallas, Texas. His work in prayer, healing, and ministry reflects his desire to help others through faith and service.
