Dr. Janet Bubar Rich is a writer and editor based in Southern California with a strong interest in mythology and storytelling. She holds a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Mythology / Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her published books include Exploring Guinevere’s Search for Authenticity and Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth.
When she is not writing, Janet can often be found sailing with her husband and dog in Marina del Rey. Her work combines her interest in timeless myths with contemporary concerns, allowing old stories to connect with questions people still think about today.
