A Life Shaped by Education and Experience
Dr. Jeff B. Zhang, Ph.D., is a Chinese American who worked as an English and tourism teacher at the Shanghai Institute of Tourism before coming to the United States in 1986 to continue his education. He earned his master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Michigan State University.
He later studied Recreation and Leisure Studies at New York University, where he completed his doctoral degree in 1996. During that time, he also spent two years studying in the MBA program at NYU’s Graduate School for Business. Through this book, Dr. Zhang shares what he describes as true accounts of his personal experiences and struggles in the United States.
