Kravitz And Sons

When Wealth, Revolution, and Injustice Collide

Some journeys begin with a simple desire to help others, but sometimes that journey leads straight into danger. Son of the Maya by John H. McKoy takes readers across Washington, Miami, and the jungles of Guatemala as two men with very different ideas about social change become connected through an unexpected crisis. Roberto Prettyman, a successful American businessman and philanthropist, finds himself caught in a situation far beyond anything he could have anticipated.

As the story unfolds, readers are pulled into a world of kidnapping, political tension, revolution, and difficult questions about justice. Roberto and the Guatemalan revolutionary Felix Gigante stand on opposite sides of the struggle, yet both carry their own beliefs about what must change. With danger growing and loyalties constantly being tested, Son of the Maya offers a gripping adventure where every decision can have serious consequences. The novel also explores social change and political issues through its characters and dialogue.
