Kravitz And Sons

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and for Connor Jones West, plans have a way of turning into storms. Voudo Island is not your usual sail across calm waters — it’s a plunge into a world where deep sea horizons meet the shadows of political power. The more you read, the more you feel like you’re in the boat with Connor, the salty wind cutting through one side and danger closing in from the other.

The story sets sail from the sun-baked streets of Key West, but the course is anything but straight. When Connor is drawn back into the world of big-time architecture and high-stakes deals, he finds himself tangled in a commission that promises wealth but reeks of corruption. Add in an old friend in trouble, the ruthless undercurrent of Caribbean politics, and the haunting pull of Haiti’s most feared legends, and you’ve got a story that pulls you under before you even realize it.

R.J. Linteau isn’t new to creating worlds that feel so vivid you could step inside them. With a background in architecture and a love for history, Linteau blends real-world events with gripping fiction. He’s the author of four novels, including The Architect, The Black Orchestra, and Motor City, and has penned two screenplays. Originally from New York, he now calls Marietta, Georgia home, splitting his time between writing and enjoying the coastal charm of Key West with his wife of over four decades. His storytelling thrives on putting fictional characters into the beating heart of history — and Voudo Island is no exception.
