Joyce Moody grew up in a world of pets. They included dogs, cats, a duckling, baby chicks, birds, lizards, and fi sh. As a child, she imagined what life would be like if she were these animals. As an adult, she volunteers with Washington Animal Response Team (WASART), which rescues domestic animals in crisis. She also helps humans in her practice as a licensed social worker and counselor. Joyce currently lives in Lakewood, Washington.
