hispers from the Cave written by Florencio Guevara isn’t your typical spiritual guide. This book feels like sitting down with someone who’s been through it all—someone who’s willing to pull back the curtain on the hidden world of spirits, energies, and the often-misunderstood role of mediums.

The author doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He walks you straight into the depths of spiritual practice—the real stuff most people are too afraid to talk about. From building a sacred space known as a boveda, to lifting dark entities, navigating spiritual cleansings, and embracing the unique whispers of your personal spirit guides, this book is a raw, no-nonsense look at the reality of living as a medium. And yet, it’s not just about rituals. It’s about the journey of self-discovery, growth, and the spiritual battles people fight every day—whether they know it or not.
Born in New York City’s borough of The Bronx in 1946, F. Guevara has been a medium all of his life. In particular, the last sixty-odd years have seen him evolve spiritually into the medium he is today. Elder of his own temple, reader, conductor of seances, known as Misas, and a mentor to countless mediums from all walks of life, F. Guevara takes a great pride in his life’s word. He has appeared on various radio programs. He currently lives in central Florida, with his wife, grandson, and their little, black Shih-Tzu named-what else-Ebony.
