Burnham lives in Hogansville, Georgia, with his wife, Ruby. Together, they have two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His background and interest in Western history help give Twin Creeks its foundation, creating a fictional adventure inspired by the struggles, dangers, and determination of people searching for a better life.
