The Author Behind the Critters
Ben Cooper brings a lifelong appreciation for animals and nature to his writing. Growing up on a family farm in Western Pennsylvania, he spent much of his life around animals. He later earned a degree in Agricultural Science from Penn State University and worked for more than 30 years with the Maryland Department of Agriculture as an Agricultural Specialist.
An award-winning author, Ben also graduated from Cornerstone Bible Institute and enjoys teaching beekeeping classes and mentoring his students. His love for plants and animals, along with his faith, continues to inspire his work. He also serves his local church through camping ministries and has participated in several short-term mission trips outside the United States. Today, he lives with his wife in Southern Pennsylvania, where he continues writing and working with his bees.
