Papa, How Come?
Parents are busy. Although parents may try to make time for their children, busy schedules often push grandparents into the position of teacher of family history. As true as that is now, imagine you are in a culture with no formal schooling, busy parents, and a grandfather no less than Adam himself. His stories are going to be truly unforgettable. This novel imagines just that, beginning with Adam’s grandson Enosh, as a seven year old boy, learning from his still middle-aged (at three-hundred plus years) grandfather Adam, the man with the most parenting experience, both good and bad, in history. Like any seven-year old, he wants to know not only the story, but why things are the way they are. This time, his grandfather knows pretty much everything, right from the beginning including why things are the way they are.
