Kravitz And Sons

From its humble origins in 1990 at City Hall with just 149 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors, the HONG KONG BOOK FAIR has grown into one of Asia’s most anticipated cultural events. Now held annually at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the fair has become a dynamic convergence of literature, technology, and global storytelling—drawing over a million visitors at its peak and expanding to include thematic zones, art installations, and offsite cultural programs. Its growth mirrors Hong Kong’s rising stature as a hub for cross-border creativity and publishing.

This year, the 35th HONG KONG BOOK FAIR 2025, held from July 16 to 22, 2025, welcomed over 770 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, reaffirming its role as a global meeting point for publishers, authors, and readers. With the theme:

“Reading The World: Food Culture • Future Living,”

The fair explored how food, memory, and cultural identity shape the stories we tell and the lives we live. More than 620 events unfolded throughout the week, including author talks, literary forums, and culinary-themed book launches. One of the standout exhibitions, “Book a Table: Food for Thought,” featured artist-designed installations in collaboration with international consulates—celebrating the deep connection between storytelling and the shared experience of food. The entire fair served as a rich canvas for publishing houses to present narratives that go beyond the page, capturing both heritage and imagination.

Kravitz & Sons joined this celebration not just to display titles, but to participate in the larger dialogue—how storytelling evolves alongside the world it reflects. Our selections were chosen to spark conversations around memory, identity, innovation, and belonging—conversations that cut across borders and generations. As the fair unfolded amid bustling crowds and global voices, it became clear that HONG KONG BOOK FAIR 2025 wasn’t just an exhibition of books; it was a living dialogue between past traditions and future imaginations. We’re proud to be part of that story.

The author, Ronald Jirovec, is a poet whose work balances conviction with compassion. His writing spans theology, philosophy, and poetic musings, but always comes back to one central aim: guiding readers toward deeper wisdom. Drawing inspiration from both the passionate voice of Nahum and the intellectual breadth of Milton, Jirovec has crafted a lyrical voice that urges readers to seek—not just knowledge, but transformation.

The Poems for Praise, Comfort, and Joy – Volume I is a poetic odyssey across the inner landscapes of faith, hardship, and divine discovery. The collection touches on scriptural instruction, mysterious experiences, spiritual battles, philosophical questioning, and raw emotional moments—all penned in an approachable, often rhythmic style. Whether reflecting on adventurous hikes through Yosemite or the quiet trials of everyday believers, Ronald Jirovec presents poetry that speaks to the soul.

“My poetry covers a wide variety of topics,” he explains, “with the main one being scriptural instruction and wisdom. I also write about life, mysteriousness, hard times and testing, adventurous hiking, other people, intellectual and philosophical introspection, comfort, and hope for the future. I will challenge you to seek God and discover His plan for you.”

What makes this volume stand out at HONG KONG BOOK FAIR 2025 is its daring spiritual clarity. In a world often starved of direction, this book doesn’t just offer verses—it offers compass points. The poems are sermons, parables, encouragements, and laments—all distilled into rhyme and reflection.

Poems for Praise, Comfort, and Joy – Volume I belongs at the fair because it speaks to the core of the fair’s theme: how we live, how we grow, and how we connect through stories. These are stories of spirit, struggle, and salvation—told with poetic clarity and eternal urgency.
