t’s only 3 days to go before the 35th Hong Kong Book Fair officially opens its doors at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre—and we can’t wait to be part of it! This year’s theme, “Reading the World: Food Culture .Future Living,” invites everyone to explore not just books, but how stories connect to what we eat, how we live, and where we’re going as a global society.
For over three decades, this book fair has been a literary lighthouse in Asia. It began in 1990 and has grown into one of the largest and most influential book events in the region. The fair now welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, including readers, authors, educators, and publishing pros from more than 30 countries. It’s a celebration of imagination, storytelling, and cultural exchange—and it’s the perfect place for authors (yes, even indie ones!) to connect, learn, and be discovered.
As an exhibitor, we’re thrilled to showcase books from a wide range of authors—especially those who’ve worked with us through our publishing services. From vibrant children’s picture books to thoughtful memoirs and genre fiction, we’re proud to represent voices that deserve a global audience. Our booth will feature selected titles, author spotlights, and promotional materials that speak directly to Hong Kong’s diverse and curious readers.
Even if you’re not joining us in person this year, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with daily updates, behind-the-scenes looks, and maybe even a few livestreams from the show floor.

💡 Author Tip of the Day
“Food Culture” and “Future Living” are your keywords. Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, think about how your story touches on human experience, sustainability, or lifestyle. This is a great angle to include in your future pitches or author bios!
