As a registered nurse specializing in cardiology, and the former features editor of her college newspaper, Maureen E. Lupton has long wanted to share her prescription for a healthy body and mind and encourage others to approach fitness one “note to self ” at a time. The Adventures of Fluff the Wonder Bear was inspired by real people and events in her everyday life. It is her first book. She lives in Dallas with her husband and two healthy and active children, where her hobbies include practicing Zumba with her kids, reading, writing, and painting. Her favorite college subject was physics.

When asked to describe her, Lupton’s 11-year-old son said, “My mom is very loving, humorous, and talented. She’s done everything from acting to being a nurse.”
