Lorraine Limero grew up in a small town west of Boston and was graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Settling in Houston, she studied psychology at the University of Houston where she finished a graduate program and enjoyed a career as a psychotherapist. Now retired, she and her husband have
traveled extensively. She wrote a second book “Thirteen Years in Psychiatric Hospital” chronicling her career. “I knew that my suffering through a serious disease would have meaning if I could help others with their journeys.”
