Carrie Hamilton Ivey, a native of Texas, resides in Maryland with her husband, James. The couple have a daughter, Sherone. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southern University in New Orleans and pursued a Master ofBusiness Administration from Loyola University. She is a retired government accountant and belongs to the Progressive National Baptist Women’s Auxiliary and the Lott Carey Foreign Mission. Carrie is also active in the Canaan Baptist Church and volunteers for the Hoyle-Jones Homeless Feeding Ministry, the Sacred Performing Arts Ministry, and the Senior’s Ministry. She hopes that THE MANNA will reach out to and inspire other Christians who are seeking spiritual fulfillment.
