The Soul of Generosity: Finding Light in a Harsh World
What does it mean to give from a place of true kindness when the world around us is harsh and unpredictable? Altruism by David O. Otebele takes readers on a quiet yet powerful journey through the fragility and beauty of selfless acts. This upcoming book doesn’t just celebrate generosity—it unpacks its costs, its rewards, and the emotional toll it takes on those who choose to give. Otebele’s writing is inviting and reflective, guiding you through moments of genuine compassion as well as the heartache that can follow.
In Altruism, you’ll meet people who give against all odds—parents, volunteers, strangers—and feel their vulnerabilities as deeply as their triumphs. Through vivid anecdotes, probing questions, and raw honesty, Otebele explores where kindness meets resilience: when giving becomes a choice, not an obligation. It’s a narrative that pulls you in softly but doesn’t let go until you question your own boundaries and beliefs about caring for others.
