Kravitz And Sons

Sometimes the best stories are the simple ones—the kind that remind us of warmth, belonging, and the joy of finding love in unexpected places. That’s exactly what you’ll find in Home Is the Very Best Place to Be by Linda Stone, a heartfelt children’s book about rescue, friendship, and the meaning of home.

Through playful rhymes and tender illustrations, the story follows Linda’s search for the perfect pet. What begins as a series of whimsical “maybes” quickly leads to two little surprises—Bubbles and Teddy, the dogs who would change everything. With them, Linda learns that the best homes aren’t just built with walls and doors; they’re built with love, patience, and the kind of companionship that fills every corner with joy.

Why This Story Matters

Home Is the Very Best Place to Be isn’t just a sweet bedtime read—it’s a gentle nudge toward compassion. At its heart, this book is about second chances, the joy of adoption, and how even the smallest choices can lead to the biggest happiness. It’s a story that kids can laugh along with and parents can treasure for the deeper message it holds.
