Dr Benjamin Ogbonna is an African immigrant and naturalized United States citizen who grew up in Nigeria with missionary parents. Despite limited resources, civil war, and life-threatening challenges, he remained committed to his childhood dream and eventually trained as a medical doctor.
He pursued postgraduate studies in obstetrics and gynecology in the United Kingdom and gained professional experience across Africa, Europe, and Asia. A respected contributor to international medical journals, Dr Ogbonna continues to lecture in the United States and Nigeria, focusing on maternal health and reducing childbirth mortality.
