ust 2 days left, and things are starting to feel real. If you’re an author joining us at the fair, now is the time to make your final preparations. And if you’re watching from the sidelines this year, take notes—this is the kind of event you’ll want to be part of in the future.
Here’s what you need to know about the Hong Kong Book Fair experience:
- It’s massive. The venue (HKCEC) will be packed with publishers, booksellers, indie authors, literary agents, media, and tens of thousands of readers. The fair spans multiple halls, including the Theme Pavilion, the Children’s Paradise, and the ever-popular World of Art & Culture, which this year focuses on culinary arts and sustainable living.
- It’s meaningful. The seminars and author talks are a big deal here. Dozens of local and international writers—across genres and languages—will share ideas, stories, and publishing journeys. It’s a masterclass in literary diversity.
- It’s festive. Yes, this is still a book fair, but with all the energy of a festival. Expect themed exhibits, creative booths, photo walls, giveaways, and food stalls. Last year’s fair had over 600 events!
As part of our display, our publishing company will feature a curated collection of titles from our indie and children’s authors—each one a gem we’re proud to bring to the Asian market. Our booth is a place to discover fresh voices, connect with our publishing team, and celebrate the magic of books.

✍️ Author Tip of the Day
Be ready to introduce yourself in one sentence. Whether you’re attending or thinking about future fairs, practice a simple, strong line that explains who you are and what you write. Ex: “I’m a children’s author who writes bilingual storybooks rooted in Chinese folklore.” It goes a long way in networking and booth chats!
