The Magic Square has been around for at least a thousand years, and there have been many great mathematic and scientific minds that have played with them. The purpose of the book isn’t to teach you a few parlor tricks that will make you the star of some late-night mathematical party (although you could do that with what you will learn here). Instead, this book reveals some of the patterns, relationships, and symmetries that make up the methods, marvels, and madness we call Magic Squares.
